Yami woke up to see two shining amethyst eyes staring at him barley inches away from his face, he blinked the sleep away making sure he wasn’t dreaming. Yugi just smiled at him making him blush a bit before he sat up. He looked around he was in his room but so was Yugi, of course that shouldn’t be much of a surprise they made a habit of falling asleep in each other’s rooms, but to his dismay not in the same bed.

“Uh Yugi what time is?” he gave a small yawn.

“About 8” he flashed another smile.

”So early” he grunted and Yugi giggled.

“Well you wanted to know where I go so early in the morning, so get up and I’ll show you”

Yami was awake almost at once, he would know where Yugi always ran off to. He got up and changed shirts, and smirked when he turned around to see a very cute blushing Yugi. Yugi fumbled a bit before just mumbling follow me and headed out the door. Yami silently followed Yugi as they entered the forest paths. His brow creased with puzzlement. ‘What could be sp special in this forest?’

They reached the end of the worn down path and Yami was about to turn back when Yugi grabbed his sleeve and smiled. Yugi gently tugged him straight into the forest. Yami still confused let Yugi tug him along, after a few minutes they finally broke through to a small clearing. He looked at his surrounding in wonder, he had no idea that such a place existed, so perfect so close.

“This is my special place”

“It’s wonderful”

Yugi smiled and stared out to the small lake as the silver fish jumped everyone in awhile. Yami just stared in awe as he looked around it was so untouched, it was so pure. His heart was beating so fast he swear Yugi was able to hear it. Yugi was still clutching to his sleeve and the closeness of their hands was but too much for him. If he was going to tell him it had to be now, it was the perfect time.

“Hey Yugi”

“Yes Yami” he turned and gave him a curious stare. Yami turned to look at his angel.

“Yugi I want to say something and I’m not sure if you’ will return but I’ve never felt this way about anyone else in my entire existence” Yugi eyes went wide with confusion.

“but Yugi my little angel I’m in love with you”

Yugi stood there in shock not quite sure what to do. His heart was beating so fast, he wasn’t sure what to do. He saw Yami head go down cast and he got over his shock and startled Yami by giving him a hug. It took Yami a split second to return the hug and cuddle his angel. The sun shined onto the clearing making everything seem to glow and sparkle. The lake glittered in the sun adding to its already magical appearance.

Yugi was in pure bliss as Yami cuddled him as was Yami in pure bliss as he cuddled Yugi. He wasn’t sure if Yugi would return his feeling but here he was cuddling him for all it was worth. Yugi sensed that school was about to start and grunted, Yami looked at him quizzically.

“School” Yami’s face fell.

“Oh”

“Yea we got to go now”

“I don’t wanna I’m perfectly comfy where I am” Yami gave a pout and Yugi chuckled.

“I know I’m comfy too” he stood up and grabbed Yami’s hand and dragged him a way, Yami pouting the whole way

Bakura scowled as he was looking for Kaigara. ‘Where does she always run off when ya need her, she was the same way back in egypt too’ He was the thief king he shouldn’t have to do anything for himself but this was modern times not like he could go do what he wanted. He turned around the corner and bumped into someone, he was about to yell them when he saw who it was.

Ryou shook his head and looked up at him. His heart lurched forward, he silently cursed himself. He looked at his look alike and cursed the gentle boy. He was the only boy that didn’t suffer the wrath of him, and damn it he just couldn’t do it he wouldn’t hit him, he couldn’t yell at him , he couldn’t even be properly angry at him. To put it simply he turned to moosh whenever he was near the boy

“Uh…Sorry Bakura… I didn’t mean to bump into you” Bakura sighed in frustration.

“Its fine” Ryou looked at him with gentle eyes and he crossed his arms as his heart lurched forward again.

“Hey do you know where Kaigara is?”

“She’s in bed still I hear she’s sick, yesterday Yami found her asleep while standing up and he sent her to bed. She hasn’t got up yet” Bakura quickly realized what she had been doing.

“Reckless stupid ignorant girl” he muttered.

“Are you mad at her?” Ryou questioned.

“No I’m pissed, damn her she’s so reckless, ok thanks for telling me”

“No problem” he gave a small smile that sent his heart pounding and he quickly walked away.

He started running as soon as Ryou was out of sight. He reached Kaigara’s room in record time. He shook the boy from his mind but finding he was unable he walked in to her room without knocking. She was still in bed but she was sitting up, propped up by pillows. Her eyes a bit dim other than that she didn’t look that bad well she was a bit pale but he ignored that.

“God damn it what the hell are you doing?”

“Keeping an eye out for everyone”

“If you use it all the time you end up killing yourself!” he yelled at her.

“I can’t let this go on!” she yelled back defiantly.

“It won’t matter if you die you’re a part of this too!” She laughed darkly.

“I don’t have a chance but you guys have finally find them, you won’t have to go through time anymore burdened by the past, you will be able to live and die happy finally free I will continue on there no one out there for me, So many lives we have lived through for me I knew it was futile but it hurt me to watch my family suffer each new life”

“Don’t you give me that shit! You know very well I don’t love anyone!”

“Really is that why you get flustered around Ryou?”

“Wh- what?!?! I have no clue what you’re talking about” she chuckled fueling his anger.

“Sure you don’t, but I don’t care much about me but that’s besides the point. Bakura Usually if this was a normal human being I wouldn’t bother so much but I don’t think he’s human” he looked at her with narrowed eyes.

“Go on”

“This Jake that lust after Yugi he doesn’t give off anything Human, he looks human, but I don’t think he is there something evil about him, he doesn’t feel human, and I know you have felt it to” she glared at him.

“Yes I’ve sensed it but that’s no excuse we will watch out for him and we will take turns watching him ok, just stop being so reckless” She giggled.

“What’s so funny” he challenged.

“The thief king is giving me a lecture”

“Shut it”

“How bout you just go flirt with Ryou and let me rest”

He grumbled as he half slammed the door leaving Kaigara to rest. He headed off to go to his classes.  Besides his class had Ryou in it, and staring at Ryou had become his favorite thing to do as of late. He kept mumbling curses all the way down the hall.

Yugi stretched his arms as the last bell rang signaling the start of the weekend. He sighed and gave a goofy grin while he hid his face in his arms giggling as he did so. He was about to get up when two arms wrapped around his frame from behind causing him to jump a bit. He looked around to see Yami smirking at him.

“What are giggling about” Yugi giggled again.

“Nothing particular just really happy”

They walked back to Yugi’s room and after Yugi set his things down the headed to Yami’s room. They opened his door to find Kaigara glaring at Yami yet she seemed strangely smug.  Yami didn’t even flinched at the glare of course that didn’t surprise Yugi any. He looked at Kaigara with wide eyes wondering what can make her so cranky.

“Yami”

“Kaigara”

“Yami you owe me”

“I owe you what!” Yami yelled.

“You owe and all you can eat buffet!” She dramatically pointed at Yami with a straight face. It was so hilarious that Yugi couldn’t stop giggling Yami even cracked a smile and just huggled Yugi. Yugi blushed but didn’t stop giggling. Kaigara smiled and she made herself comfortable on Yami’s couch.

“What makes you think I’ll pay for you?”

“Because I haven’t eaten in two full days” she grumbled. Yami sighed and walked over and handed her some bills her eyes glittered and she danced around the room. She hugged Yami briefly before rushing out the door. She headed down the hall and ran onto the pavement as she ran she paused and stopped right in front of the person she didn’t want to see.

“Jake”

“Kaigara”

“Is it just me or do I get the feeling you hate me for no good reason”

“Stop playing dumb we both know you’re not even human” he glared at her.

“True but you cannot stop me from getting what I want” she narrowed her eyes.

“Tell me Jake what exactly are you after”

“I’m after little Yugi he will make an excellent slave, and of course the power of your pharaoh”

“Like to see you try Jake I may not know exactly what you are but I know you’re not getting what you want” he laughed.

“You can do nothing to stop me so do what you must be I shall get what I want” he stalked away laughing.

‘Ass’ she temporally she forgot about her burdens on she run to her favorite buffet. She was going to walk into it when she noticed a certain blonde drooling by the window, or more accurately on it. She walked behind him looking quizzically at him. she giggled again her good mood coming back the blonde turned around to face her.

“What’s so funny there?”

“Jou you’re drooling on the window”

“Hey I’m hungry I haven’t eaten all day, hey wait a minute aren’t you Yugi’s friend uhh Kaigara right?”

“The one and only, you’re lucky I came by because I think I got enough money to pay for both of us”

His eyes sparkled and she just walked in, he trailed behind like a lost puppy. She paid for both of them and without waiting for either one of each other they digged in. Both stuffing their faces like starved animals. Everyone in the buffet backed away as they devoured everything in sight after an hour they had to close down due to loss of food. They walked out satisfied.

“Say thanks for paying for me and stuff that’s really nice of ya”

“Anything for a friend of Yugi” Jou blinked curiously.

“So how’s he doing at that school you got, I mean I know I visit sometimes but he never tell me everything ya know?”

“He’s doing great, although he misses hanging out with you a lot”

“He says that?” Jou blinked again.

“Yea he says he misses ya in his classes and a lot of other stuff”

Unknown to Jou she was leading him straight to the school ever so delicately. ‘ but I have a plan to fix all that Jou, if you are ever so willing’ She mentally smirked and also maniacally laugh in her head her plan seemed to perfect and her ego was expanding a bit too much. Side effect with hanging around Seto she mused silently to herself. She knew how it felt and couldn’t blame Seto, well not completely anyway.

“Really heck I miss my little buddy too school been a real bore without him there”

“Hey Jou question are you gay?” Jou stopped with deadpanned face.

“Why- wai-  why are you askin?”

“Curious” she answered nonchalant.

“Well I guess so I mean I never did have an interest in girls much but I haven’t much interest in guys either but I suppose the pull is just slightly stronger”

“So you wouldn’t mind going to the same school as Yugi did?” she raised her brow.

“No wish I could”

“So what your saying is that if you had a chance you would go” triumph clearly ringing with every word.

“Yea”

He looked into her eyes as she whipped around to face him. The look in her eyes can only be described as evil. She grabbed his wrist and dragged him away she was giggling insanely so. He was starting to be scared soon a rough looking guy walked up beside her and looked at her curious. She looked at Bakura the insane twinkle never leaving her. Bakura raised his brow and Marik joined her and Bakura.

“What are you planning” Bakura asked

“Oh oh oh is it a new toy to play with is it is it?” Marik asked excitedly

“Yes and no trust me we will have fun with this one but he’s Yugi’s best bud so we can’t break him”

Marik’s face fail but the look that passed between him and Kaigara was pure evil. Jou could do nothing as he was dragged into a building which he noted was a school. Jou couldn’t run if he wanted she had a strong grip for a girl and she had no intention of letting him escape.  She led him into a an office and then warm honey brown met with cold ice blue. Jou startled by the intensity of coldness in those eyes visible flinched.

She let go of his wrist she held on just enough not to leave a mark and the redness that was on his wrist faded almost instantly. Jou took this opportunity to stare at the brunette his eyes were cold and blue and he seemed to have a permanent glare stuck on his face. He stood up regal like his glare intensifying not yet directed at him. Jou noticed that underneath his clothes he had a very nice figure and he could feel some heat rush onto to his face as well as his heart quicken.

“What the hell did you drag into my office now?”

“A lost puppy” she smirked.

“That is no puppy” he paused and glared as him. “That is a mutt” Something snapped.

“Hey don’t call me dat!”

“Call you what…mutt”

“I’m not a mutt!” the continued you liked that for several minutes before Seto finally turned back to Kaigara.

“So what the hell is that mutt doing here anyway?”

“Hey cous” she went over and gave him a hug which seemed to have no effect on the cold brunette.

“Oh no I already pulled strings for one I’m not going for two”

“Please Seto…for me?”

Jou looked at them he was amazed t how someone can act normal one minute insane the next then become the master of being the sweetest thing ever afterward. He wasn’t sure if he was suppose to impressed or scared, she looked sweetly at Seto it looked like it wasn’t having any effect on him.  Soon the CEO sighed heavily closed his eyes and mumbled some curse words before  opening his eyes again.

“Fine”

“Good he can have that empty dorm near Yugi’s”

“Wait what” he asked confused by the whole exchange.

“Let’s go Jou”

“Bye mutt” he smirked as Jou was dragged out before he could retaliate leaving him fuming.

This is going to ruin my plans if this continues. I have to think of something that girl is going to ruin all of it. His green eyes gazed the campus his eyes drifting to a certain someone’s window. He felt lust take over his body he was becoming frustrated for he could nothing to satisfy it. He was a being of the shadows and he did what he very well pleased.

In this modern day he had hide behind the guise of filthy humans. He had never had met anyone’s light was so strong and he wanted it for himself. He could only imagine the pained cries that light would scream for him. He could only imagine his pleasure as he plunged himself into that light, smothering it, hurting it, making it bleed red.

He had planned on seducing that light but he hadn’t had any chances it seemed someone had caught onto his lust streak. And they did everything to keep him away, not only that it was the pharaoh and all his buddies from so long ago. Not only was he bent on having that light he was bent on having that power the pharaoh held.  He would have it all if it wasn’t for that girl. The thought made his fangs and claws grow.

It’s like he knew what he planned from day one, and she had somehow managed to thwart him every step of the way. She managed to keep them all together or at least had them always paired so he couldn’t pick at them and he knew she was trying to make the bond stronger. He dint know the full story of what happened to them and the pharaoh but it surly had to do something with that emotion humans so relished on.

Love not only that but pure love he gagged on just the thought. Such a emotion was useless the only emotions that are need are lust and anger. He licked his lips at those thought. He was planning some nasty things for all of them especially the girl, the light, and don’t forget the pharaoh. He laughed as he retracted his claws and fangs his green eyes piercing the air he stalked off to his dorm.
